She treats the clarinet like an extension of her own voice (it is no surprise that she is such a beautiful singer, as wellhead!) and always puts intention, meaning and emotion behind her playing. She has evolved greatly with her rhythmic sophistication and rarely lands caught up with syncopated and mixed rhythms anymore.

In addition to Catherine’s wonderful musicianship, she is a kind, adjuvant and demonstrable influence on every group she has ever contend with. She treats all close to her with respect and warmth.
